March Favourites 2014
It's favourites time again and I have been a bit lazy on the testing department this month. However I have a small group of definite stand outs for you. Starting with skincare I have a pair I picked up whilst in TK Maxx. The By Nature Hydrating Day Cream which I was drawn to by the amazing ingredients list; Rosehip oil, Hyaluronic acid and Aloe vera to name a few. After trying it for a couple of weeks I have noticed a huge difference in my skin which I believe is down to this and the This Works Fresh Skin . An alcohol free toning mist which is great for fighting spots and keeping the skin clear. The most expensive of the bunch this month is the Hourglass ambient lightning powder in Luminous light at £38 It is very pricey but I honestly think its worth the money, the powders basically change the way light reflects from your skin, so can give the appearance of a healthier glowing complexion. Truly amazing. Another powder product that has impressed me this month is the Sleek blush in suede . I have always loved the formula of Sleek blushes, they are my favourite drugstore blushes and great dupes for the Nars ones. I love the shade 'Suede' for an all year round blush shade, super pretty and natural on so many skin tones. And lastly for the eyes The Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadow Paint in Rich Russet has not left my lids, literally. It stays all day and looks so pretty for an every day look. So thats it march is done and I for one am so excited for april, I promise its not just because its my Birthday month, wink wink.

One Swipe Eyes
There is nothing we enjoy more then being able to have an extra ten minutes in bed on a morning, am I right? In that mad makeup rush caused by hitting the snooze button to many times? We've all been there. Something that has become a bit of a life saver for me recently is cream eyeshadow, effortless, quick and gorgeous. literally a one swipe eyeshadow look! And don't worry you wont have to spend a fortune! A few of my favourites, High end: Mac Paint Pot in 'Constructavist' Drugstore : Maybelline Eye studio color Tatoo 24hr eyeshadow in 'On and On Bronze Great under eyeshadow as a long lasting base or on their own as a quick metallic eye look.

The Power of The Pastels!
So spring has finally sprung and its about time to don on the pastels! Pastel nails are definitely one of my favourite nail trends, so i'm here to share with you my top choices! Essie Fiji has to be up there, one of the most popular Essie shades, a super light pastel pink, spring in a bottle! Another pinky option I have been reaching for lately is Ciate Amazing Gracie, 2 coats and its A super sheer option for the more natural look. Next its the beautiful pastel peachy number Chanel June, despite the name its the perfect polish for spring plus it makes your mitts look extra bronzed. Now for a the bluey/greeny option, step aside Mint Candy Apple and welcome Ciate Ferris Wheel, a pastel blue with hints of green. And finally to top of this easter egg bunch there is my fave Maybelline Look out Lemon the perfect yellow that suits everyone! Sick of the word "pastel' yet?

Bedside Beauty
A few bedside beauty bits to share with you this week. When it comes to sleeping I win every time, My family and friends will all vouch for the fact that I could sleep for England. A good book and a lavender candle and I'm out in no time. So its obvious my bedside beauty stash is where you will find all of my most used products as I spend so much time there ;).
First essential is of course a lip balm, a good old smother of Nuxe reve de miel lip balm before hitting the hay leaves my lips chap free and lipstick ready come morning. Then its on to the mits a good dollop of l'occitane shea butter hand cream keeps my fingers in check. And to top that off I love having the This Works deep sleep stress less roller ball and pillow spray at hand to get me in the mood to snooze. I hope thats not made you too tired.
What are your tips for getting the best nights sleep?

Hannah's Thoughts: Nars Deep Throat Blush
So another "Hannah Thoughts" for you this week, today its all about one of my favourite products EVER; The Nars Blush In 'Deep Throat, rude name I know, but that aside this seriously is one of my most used products. Being a blush addict, with a collection well into double digits, It was hard too choose a fave but ever since 'Deep Throat' entered my life, thats all changed. First lets talk about the colour; peachy, pinky, shimmery. Pretty much all I look for in a blush, gives that gorgeous 'lit from within' look, as well as adding that summery glow. drooling yet? The formula is just right soft on the skin and blends so well. ( like all Nars blushes) the pigmentation is just right not too heavy not to sheer.
talk about perfect ey?
Let me know in the comments what your perfect blush is ?

Current Candles #1
My obsession with scented candles is quite clear, you just have to take one look at my Instagram or stumble across my the candle cupboard (yes, thats a thing in my house) to see that my love of candles is quite serious. I thought I would begin this little series to show you what candles are top of my current burning list. If any one out there is as obsessed as I am about candles I think they will find this quite interesting.
Over the Christmas period I received quite a few candles and bought a few myself. Christmas burns aside I still have a good little bundle which I thought I'd share with you today.
First on the list and currently burning is the Caudalie Divine Candle similar fragrance to their Divine oil. A floral woody scent with notes of orange blossom, rose and musk. A gorgeous homely scent, which I think is perfect for burning in a living room or bedroom.
Up for duty next will be the Natural wax candle in Honey and Papaya. A super summery sweet scent perfect to lighten up the january blues, which I think is available from Sainsbury's.
Then it's onto the Parks Aromatherapy's soothing and comforting candle. With Linden Blossom, Mimosa and magnolia. Floral and sweet at the same time. perfect.
Onto my personal favourite Diptyque Baies Candle . Come on, you know it's a good'en if it's from Diptyqe. fruity, fresh and fills the whole of my upstairs with a beautiful lingering fragrance, Do I need to say anymore.
And finally for those candle lit bath moments, theres the This Works Lavender and Roman Chamomile Candle , calming sleepy scents galore. Check.
What candles have you been loving recently?
